Google Talk – Blackberry and Store and Forward

Google talk has some interesting new features lately, including a Blackberry client and store-and-forward messaging.

I have always thought that IM is a natural application for Blackberry, because people tend to send short, informal messages on both platforms, and because the buddy list and conversation window UI elements in IM are more suited to small screens than are email threads.

Store and forward messaging has always been a popular request in EIM systems everywhere. It seems that vendors/network operators are beginning to pick up on this and build it into their products/services.
