Eric Kristoff is a Director of IT with a major global investment bank. Most of his 15+ years in IT have been spent advancing emerging technologies and distributed systems. He led the bank’s introduction of eCommerce systems in the 1990s, is co-inventor of patented instant messaging technology, and has helped shape grid computing strategy and business models. Eric currently works in applied research and development, including data centre strategy and high performance computing. He is a frequent speaker and panelist in a variety of industry and academic forums, including the Enterprise Grid Alliance, the University of Illinois at Chicago, The 451 Group and others.
